our beginning
Yahweh's Sacred Assembly 7th day had its humble beginnings in 2011, starting with just four members in Kahawa West, Nairobi. In 2013, the Assembly relocated to Marurui, where we continued to grow. In 2016 we built our small Assembly which has been our spiritual home ever since. We're looking forward to constructing a bigger Assembly, Yahshua's willing.
We are dedicated to spreading the knowledge of Yahweh and His son here in Kenya and internationally as Elohim's wills.Through the establishment of branch assemblies led by ordained leaders, we extend our reach and through ministry. We baptize new believers in the name of Yahshua Messiah, fulfilling our primary duty: to lead people to a saving knowledge of Abbah Yahweh and His Son, Yahshua.
Our Mission:
To proclaim the gift of eternal life to the world that is knowing Yahweh and His Son Yahshua and keeping the Ten Commandments and His Laws.(John 17:3)
Our Vision:
To grow together in Yahshua, becoming an oasis of agape love where Yahweh's love is unmistakably evident, uniting all as one, regardless of status. (John 13:34-35)
What Makes Us Different
Torah-Rooted Faith
We believe Yahweh’s commandments are still good, still holy, and still relevant today. We do not cut the Bible in half; we receive the whole counsel of Scripture.
A Set-Apart Congregation in The Heart Of Nairobi
Yahweh’s Sacred Assembly is a Torah-keeping Messianic church based in Nairobi, Kenya, founded under the leadership of Pastor Francis Kariuki Irungu.
We believe that the whole Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—is the living and unchanging Word of Yahweh. We follow Yeshua the Messiah, keep the seventh-day Sabbath, and seek to live in holiness in every area of life, including how we dress, how we worship, and how we treat one another.
Sabbath-Keeping Community
We keep the Sabbath on Saturday, the seventh day, as commanded in Scripture. Our weekly gathering is a time for worship, teaching, fellowship, and rest in Yahweh’s presence.
Modest, Holy Living
We take seriously Yahweh’s call to modesty and purity. Men and women dress decently. Women cover their hair and wear long dresses that cover the body, out of respect for Yahweh and themselves.
We Do Not Follow Man-Made Traditions
Scripture Over Tradition : We do not celebrate holidays and customs that were never commanded by Yahweh in His Word—such as Christmas and other man-made “Christian” festivals.
Instead, we focus on what He has commanded and revealed, seeking to please Him rather than follow popular religious culture.
